Murmurations is a public response to the unique history of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Hyde Park Barracks as a site representing the forced migration of people.

Murmurations is a digital artwork by First Nations artist Tony Albert and Sāmoan–Australian artist Angela Tiatia, commissioned specifically for the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Hyde Park Barracks. The work brings together First Nations perspectives from Australia and the Pacific to explore the history of the Barracks as a site of migration.

On the Edge: Species at Risk at Lion Gate Lodge Garden will showcase a diversity of endangered and vulnerable Australian species and ecological communities. The artwork includes a wide variety of mediums such as painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, wood, and textiles. Each artwork will be accompanied by an artist's statement outlining the threat the species or environment is facing.

The free Barka: The Forgotten River exhibition will advocate for the health and future of the Barka (Darling River) by focusing on the stories, culture and people who have Barka running through their veins.

This First Nations exhibition was developed by Uncle Badger Bates and Justine Muller in collaboration with the Barkandji community.

Brickwrecks - Sunken Ships in LEGO® Bricks is coming December 17th at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
